RC-Timing 2022 is now available
New features for RC-Timing 2022
Timed Practice Rounds
Race meetings can now include Timed Practice Rounds! It's no longer necessary to copy the meeting file to run practice rounds.
- Practice heat settings are configurable: number of rounds, sort type, race duration, gaps, start type.
- Or to keep things simple, practice settings can default to the same as the class settings.
- Practice listing and results can be broadcast to RC-Results.com.
- The heat list can be sorted using practice results. This is totally optional; you can leave the heats alone if you want.
- Maximum number of rounds increased to 50 (was 15) to allow for plenty of practice rounds.
Other New Features
- Vostok decoder is now supported.
- Notes can be added to race listings, for printing and broadcasting. See example here.
- 'Delete Race' button on the Reorder Races screen, for deleting empty races.
- After sorting heats, driver abilities are shown in the Drivers Table. This can help with adjusting the heat sort, and spotting drivers with 0 ability.
- After racing has started, each drivers best time for the day is shown in the Drivers Table. This can help with sorting finals, to make sure there isn't too big a speed difference within a final.
Smaller Improvements
- Personal Bests are no longer broadcast when doing a 'Broadcast All'. These can be broadcast separately from the PBs screen.
- When starting a meeting that has been broadcast previously, RC-Timing will prompt to resume the broadcast. No more moans from drivers that you're not broadcasting!
- Spectator Display test now works correctly on Windows 10.
- Spectator Display gets refreshed regularly, to prevent it being blanked out by other windows.
- Archive printout includes abilities.
- If a driver result is docked, it will now report 0 for best lap, best 10 and consec 3.
- PBs are shown on the Archive screen even if a meeting isn't loaded.
